The show must go on - just not at the Box Elder County outdoor arena quite yet.
Rain over the weekend was graciously accepted in northern Utah as much of the state is in a severe drought but it also meant organizers for the 2021 Box Elder County Fair's Draft Horse Show had to make some last minute venue changes.
Heavy rains left the arena floor looking like a mud bath, so draft horse organizers opted to move the event to the parking lot just west of the arena. That gave county crews time to dry things out before the first night of rodeo action on Wednesday, August 25.

The Munns family comprised of siblings, nieces and nephews, took home a combined 11 ribbons on Monday. Sadie Barnum (two ribbons), Daci Munns (four ribbons and a youth buckle), Dylan Munns (one ribbon), Kate Munns (two ribbons) and Josh Munns (two ribbons). They represented the family well.
