BOX ELDER COUNTY FAIR - "The Big Sell: BEJL Auction 2021 a success!"

The 2021 Box Elder Junior Livestock auction was held Saturday, August 28, at the Box Elder County fairgrounds.

Ryker Kendrick sold his Grand Champion hog to Archibald Tire Pros for $4,600. Pictured with him are grandparents, Chris and Nancy Sorensen, parents Christyn and Ryan Kendrick and buyers Jeffrey and Reggie Archibald.

Reserve Champion hog was sold by Jorja Mattinson for $3,800, pictured with buyers Jess Daniels of J D Truck Repair and Chris Beins (Allison Biens not pictured) of Top Hat Farms.

Garrett Smith garnered $6,750 for his Grand Champion steer, pictured with buyers Skyler Phillips of Apex Concrete Lifting, Chase Phillips and Jenny Goring of American Secure Title, and parents David and Trudy Smith.

The Reserve Champion steer earned Jaxton Francom $4,400 and was purchased by Superior Livestock's Wayne and Sally Pugsley.

Krimsyn Rees sold her Grand Champion goat for $3,100 to Capener & Company. Pictured are Chris Kason and Kazur Rees and buyer Micah Capener.

Rudds Funeral Home was the buyer for Brylie Howe's Reserve Champion goat at $2,200. Pictured are Joe Rudd and father Daniel Howe.

Exhibitor Kylie Kunzler sold her Grand Champion lamb for $4,000, to Kelly and Linda Kunzler of Superior Livestock. Pictured are Roy Pugsley, Brinley Rose, McKayla Morris, Hazel Pugsley and Charley Kunzler, representing the buyers.

Nucor Steel paid $3,700 for Addistyn Burrup's Reserve Champion lamb. Pictured are John Walters, Jordan and Lacy Burrup.
