BREAKING NEWS - "Tremonton Shooting Leaves Two in Critical Condition"


TREMONTON - September 1, 2022


The Tremonton Garland Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place at 350 W. 1000 N., (former La-Z-Boy plant) in Tremonton on Wednesday, August 31, involving three males.


According to a statement from Tremonton Garland Police Chief Dustin Cordova, a conflict took place and a shooting occurred where two of the males sustained gunshot wounds. Police located a suspect and took him into custody. No information indicates other suspects were involved in this crime. Both victims are in critical condition.


"Many thanks to the Tremonton and Garland police officers and the Box Elder Sheriff's department for their quick and effective response to this incident. The officers responded to the incident with skill and professionalism. I am grateful no officers were injured and that our community is safe," stated Tremonton City Mayor Lyle Holmgren on a Facebook post.
