Box Elder County has a lot to offer this ghosting season, with pumpkin patches, spooky corn mazes and more. Here is just some of the fun to be had as Halloween nears:


Wacky Witches and Spooky Skeletons

Fine Arts Center, 58 South 100 West, Brigham City

Pre-registration requested - stories, crafts, games, treats, puppet show, Halloween maze

COST - $3/person or $10/family

October 14, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. or 1 - 3 p.m.


Evan’s Acres Mini Farm Fall Festival

13485 N. 10000 W., Bothwell

Farm animals, games, straw maze, corn pit, barrel train rides.

COST - $6/person

October 16, 12 - 4 p.m.


Spook-A-Rama

429 North Main, Mantua

Pre-school activities begin at 6 p.m. Spook Trail at 7 p.m.

Main Street Park Playground Fundraiser. Concessions available.

DONATIONS SUGGESTED $5/person $15/family

Pumpkin Portrait Halloween Party

Fine Art Center, 58 South 100 West, Brigham City

Pre-register. Pumpkin decorating and painting. All pumpkins and materials will be provided. Puppet show. Costumes welcomed.

COST - $5/family

October 25, 6:30-8 p.m.


Brigham City Library

Spooky stories, games and a craft. Refreshments served. Costumes encouraged. Pre-registration is required.

This is the fifth year the Ferry family has offered the Pumpkin Patch, located on Hwy. 13, two miles west of I-15. The family-friendly corn maze is new this year and geared to a younger audience. All activities are included in the price of admission. Plan to spend an hour or two celebrating the end of the harvest as a family. Go while the weather is good! Last day is Saturday, October 30.

FREE – Oct. 23, Trunk or Treat, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m., Bear River Valley Country Store south parking lot, Corinne. Pumpkin carving/painting contest. Bring yours to be judged. Prizes for best trunk


COST – Oct. 23, Pumpkin Paw-looza, noon-5 p.m., Tremonton. Tiny Paws Rescue will offer games, candy, pumpkin painting, prizes, raffles and vendors, at Library Park, 210 N. Tremont Street.


COST - $8, under 5 free Oct. 23, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Enchanted Hollow Alpacalypse, 5635 W. 8800 N., Elwood. Creep through the alpacas, photo booth, trick or treat, maze.


Free – Oct. 28-29, 3-10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday. Big Blue Pumpkin Walk, Utah State University/Brigham City. Walk through a variety of displays, booths.


FREE – Oct. 29, 4-6 p.m., Trick or Treat on Main Street, Tremonton 300 East to 200 West and Midland Square



FREE – Oct. 30, 4 p.m., Fall Carnival, Tremonton. Presented by River of Life Church. Carnival games, candy, trunk or treat, illusionist. Shuman Park, 200 North, Tremont Street.


FREE – Oct 30, Halloween Movie Madness, Brigham City


COST – $5/Students, $7, Oct. 28-30, Nov 1, Monsters Got Talent Too, Brigham City, Thursday, Friday and Monday 7 p.m., Saturday 2 and 5 p.m. Performed by the Apollo Theatre Company “We’ll Make You Scream.”
