COMMUNITY - "GFWC Women's Civic League plans volunteer projects and looking for new members"

TREMONTON – “Valley Voice” – September 1, 2020


The Bear River Valley’s General Federation of Women’s Civic League International (GFWC) Women’s Civic League members have been busy planning future volunteer projects and invited new members to join them.

On June 18, 2020, installation of new officers was conducted by Utah State President Linda Kuwana.

The GFWC, Women’s Civic League has been a volunteer organization for 80 years serving the Bear River Valley.

On August 14, 2020, GFWC of Utah board representative, Mohea Sprouse, presented past GFWC State President Linda Kuwana with a gift for her outstanding leadership for the 2018-2020 term. Linda will be continuing her service as GFWC of Utah State President for the 2020-2022 term.

New members are always a vital part of the ongoing GFWC club. If you are looking for a way to volunteer and give back to your community, come and visit our organization. Membership is open year around.

The club meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. currently at the North Park Park’s bowery so they can practice social distancing.
