BOX ELDER COUNTY – By Cari Doutre – December 15, 2020
For the past 10 years Tanglewood Studios in Bothwell has generously given back to the community while celebrating the talent of youth dancers, singers, musicians and more – and this year it hits close to home for Tanglewood families.
This year with COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions in place, Tanglewood families didn’t skip a beat when it came to donating those in need. On Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, the studio’s Share a Little Christmas event was held at the Garland City Armory where donations added up.
Making those donations more personal for the community, and the studio this year, Tanglewood families and others raised $3,000 for Mandi Bingham and her family.
Mandi was diagnosed with Pulmonary Adenocarcinoma (lung) cancer in Sept. 2020. She is a mother of five children and a teacher at Tanglewood Studios. Mandi just recently began treatment to fight the cancer.
Tanglewood Studios is currently selling #MandiYouGotThis bracelets with proceeds benefiting the Bingham family. To donate to the Bingham family, or to purchase a bracelet for $3, Venmo them at: @tanglewood-studios
