It’s time to take a walk on the “pumpkin side.”

The second annual Tremonton Area Pumpkin Walk, sponsored by the General Federal of Women’s Clubs - Women’s Civic League, will be held in Shuman Park, Friday and Saturday, October 8 and 9.

Service clubs, non-profit organization and the general public are invited to “dress up” a spooktacular scene using pumpkins and gourds. Each group would need to provide their own supplies and a way to light their scene, using solar lights or a generator (generators may be shared, but should not be left overnight).

Set up time begins on Thursday afternoon and the scene must be removed after the walk on Saturday night.

Carved pumpkins will also be needed to light the walk, and all are invited to carve and light (no flames) a pumpkin.

Visitors can view the Pumpkin Walk from noon to 9 p.m. on Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday. There is no entrance fee, but a donation box will be available. A portion of the proceeds will go toward community projects.

If interested, please fill out the application below and return to Marilyn Dalton, grammamuggs@gamail.com. Please apply early as space is limited.
