GARLAND - By Cari Doutre - Jan. 8, 2020

When members of the Garland City Council met for the first time in 2020 they did so by welcoming a new face to the council and getting down to city business as usual. On Wednesday, Jan. 8, James Munns, was sworn in as a council member while incumbents to the council, Josh Marble and Linda Bourne, accepted another term and were also sworn in.

Garland City Council meetings are held the first and third Wednesday nights of the month starting with a work session at 7 p.m. and council meeting at 8 p.m. Meetings are held at the Garland City offices, 17 N. Main St., Garland. The public is always welcome, and encouraged, to attend these meetings.
