No pandemic is stopping this year's Miss Bear River Valley scholarship competition after the 2020 event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 virus.
Six young women from northern Box Elder County are set to compete in the scholarship competition on Thursday, July 8, at 7 p.m. at Bear River High School's auditorium. As part of the Miss America scholarship organization, this year's competition will include judged events in interview, talent, on-stage question and evening wear.
The 2021 Miss Bear River Valley competition is in it's 75th year and Thursday evening's event will include past queens taking the stage.
Also new this year, Bear River Live, a locally owned and operated multi media company, will be live streaming the competition. To purchase tickets click on the link below.
