NEWS - "2022 Election Results in New County Leadership"


BOX ELDER COUNTY - November 14, 2022


Elections results are in from the 2022 General Election on November 8, for both the state of Utah and Box Elder County.


At the county level, Box Elder County will see two new faces of leadership on the county commission starting in 2023. Republican Boyd M. Bingham will be giving up his position as Mayor of Honeyville to serve on the Box Elder County Commission starting in January 2023. Bingham received 14,489 votes compared to his opponent Amber Hardy with 2,894 votes. Running unopposed for Box Elder County Commission Seat B, Lee B. Perry with 15,750 votes total.


Also running unopposed, Box Elder County Sheriff Kevin Potter was reelected to serve another term with 15,922 votes.
