NEWS - "Box Elder Sheriff's Department looking for stolen horse"

An investigation is on going in the theft of a horse from Promontory. The Box Elder Sheriff’s Department stated that the horse is a gentle Dun colored 13-year old gelding. It was last seen located between the Golden Spike Historical Site and the Spiral Jetty, mid-morning on Monday, April 6. Story continues below...


A white Ford pickup pulling an aluminum stock trailer was reported in the area on Saturday, April 4.

The horse has two brands. Over the horse’s left hip is the Utah brand and rafter over JB connected. The left hip brand is a freeze brand and will show white on the horse. On the right hip is the open A bar over A brand (from the previous owner). See the attached photo. Story continues below...
