Results are in from the June 28, 2022, Primary Election in Box Elder County and the state of Utah after unofficial results were released on June 30. In Box Elder County races, two new faces will take their seats on the Box Elder County Commission in January 2023, while a familiar face will continue to lead and protect as Box Elder County Sheriff.
Boyd M. Bingham (current Mayor of Honeyville) was elected to serve on the Box Elder County Commission's Seat A with a total of 5,027 votes. His opponent, Tyler M. Vincent (a former Brigham City Mayor) received 4,682 votes. Bingham will step down as Honeyville Mayor to serve on the Box Elder County Commission in January 2023.
For Box Elder County Commission Seat B, Lee B. Perry (a former state representative for District 29 for the State of Utah) won the election with a total of 5,576 votes. His opponent, Curtis L. Marble, received 4,165 votes total.
Box Elder County Sheriff Kevin Potter was re-elected to serve another term as Sheriff defeating his opponent candidate Jason Leon Jensen. Potter received 5,147 votes to Jensen's 4,620 votes.
