NEWS - "Crews battle Tremonton house fire"

TREMONTON - January 8, 2022

A house fire at 840 West 720 North Friday night, January 7, displaced a Tremonton family and caused damage, especially in the garage. All occupants safely evacuated the house prior to the fire department arrival.

The fire started about 7:40 p.m., in the garage of the two-story home. Crews from Tremonton and Garland responded and had the fire under control in about an hour. The fire was contained to the garage, but there was also some fire damage to the attic and smoke damage to the rest of the home.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, according to Tremonton Fire Chief Robert LaCroix.
