BEAVER DAM - December 20, 2022
A head-on crash on SR-30 near Beaver Dam, early Tuesday morning, December 20, claimed the life of a 38-year-old Mendon man and seriously injured the driver of a semi.
A report from Utah Highway Patrol said the accident occurred about 1 a.m., when a westbound pickup truck, driven by Tyler Burgin, crossed over into the eastbound lanes and struck a Kenworth driven by Carson Norris, 24, of Lonetree, Wyoming. The driver of the pickup was killed on impact. The semi driver was transported to Bear River Valley Hospital.
SR-30 was shut down in both directions for nearly four hours following the accident.
