Write-in candidate Wesley Estep will take a spot on the Tremonton City Council this January after elections results released November 9, show him with the highest number of write-in votes.
The 2021 Municipal Election in Tremonton City saw incumbent Bret Rohde with 750 votes, enough to get him re-elected. Write-in candidates vying for an open spot on the council saw Estep with 403 total votes, Jeffrey Nelson Hoedt had 185 votes and Justin Scoffield had 72 votes.
Rohde and Estep will join incoming Tremonton City Mayor Lyle Holmgren for an official swearing-in ceremony in January during the first Tremonton City Council meeting of 2022.
