Firefighters from Tremonton were joined by crews from Garland and Fielding to battle a blaze in the shop at Buttar's Tractor, 1640 W. Main, Tremonton, on Wednesday morning, January 18.
According to interim fire chief, Chris Scothern, a report came in about 3:40 a.m., of smoke coming from the building north of the store. When fire units arrived, they were able to enter the shop through the east side of the building and attack the flames located on the west wall and up into the ceiling. They were able to contain the fire to that area.
Scothern said firemen were on site with equipment until about 7:30 a.m. A state fire marshal was called to the scene to determine cause and damage total.
