An 86-year-old man was flown by air to an Ogden hospital following a crash on Brigham City’s Main Street.

According to Lt. Tony Ferderber of the Brigham City Police Department, the accident happened just before 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 14. The man, who recently moved to Brigham City from the Cache Valley area, was heading east on 600 S., in a passenger car, and pulled onto Main Street into the path of a southbound semi-truck.

The driver of the car was unresponsive at the scene and ambulance personal transported him to Brigham City Community Hospital. He was later taken by helicopter and is listed in serious condition. Ferderber said.

The driver of the semi was not injured.
