A crash on SR 13 near 8000 N., in Elwood, Saturday night, April 2, injured a 16-year-old male.
According to Utah Highway Patrol, the teen was on SR 13, traveling northbound on a Yamaha off-road motorcycle about 8:30 p.m. It was dark and the driver of an SUV traveling south did not see the motorcycle, which was not equipped with lights and was not street legal. He attempted to made a left turn onto 8000 N., and the two collided.
The teen, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported by ambulance to Bear River Valley Hospital with head and lower extremity injuries.
