NEWS – “One dead in Hwy. 30 accident near Riverside”

An early morning accident on Wednesday, Oct. 28, near Riverside in northern Box Elder County has left one woman dead.

The Utah Highway Patrol is reporting that at approximately 8:30 a.m. a Honda Odyssey minivan heading south on 4400 W. failed to stop at the stop sign at the Hwy. 30 intersection. The mini van struck a semi-truck trailer upon entering the intersection, killing the driver of the minivan on impact.

The name of the driver in the 2005 Honda Odyssey minivan hasn’t been released pending family notification. The UHP did state it was a 38-year old woman from Beaver Dam.

A 47-year old Cache Valley man was the driver of the semi-truck and was not injured in the accident.
