BOX ELDER COUNTY - March 4, 2021
Utah Highway Patrol troopers responding to a rollover car accident on Thursday, March 4, on SR 13 near Plymouth arrived to find one individual fatally injured.
According to the Department of Public Safety, just before 6 a.m., a black Honda Accord traveling southbound on SR 13 near mile marker 29, veered off the road to the right where the driver overcorrected. The vehicle then spun out of control, crossed into northbound traffic and rolled several times.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle sustaining fatal injuries.
Authorities added that drug and alcohol impairment is being investigated as a possible contributing factor in the fatal crash.
