Tremonton Garland Police have little to go on following a break-in sometime Sunday night or early Monday morning (March 13-14) at the Golden Spike Burger at 1387 S. Main St., in Garland.
Police Chief Nick Nessen said the thief or thieves smashed in the front door of the fast-food restaurant that is a popular hangout for students at Bear River High and Bear River Middle schools. Approximately $125 was taken.
Although the business does not have security cameras, the schools and some nearby businesses do. Nessen said that footage will be checked for suspects or clues.
“There is not a lot to go on at the moment,” Nessen said.
He asked the public to contact his department if they have any information relative to this case.
