The driver of a semi and his female passenger escaped serious injuries Saturday night after the vehicle they were in left the freeway and crashed.
According to information from Utah Highway Patrol, the driver was heading southbound about 11:30 p.m. near milepost 372. As the semi left the freeway, it traveled about 80 feet, heading up the embankment of the overpass into Honeyville before coming to a stop.
Both occupants were transported to Bear River Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
