Bryce H Udy
July 30, 1938 — January 24, 2023
Bryce H Udy completed his earthly mission on January 24, 2023. He was born July 30, 1938, to Gardner L and Violetta Jane Hess Udy. He graduated from Bear River High School and served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to California. He later served in the U.S. Army.
He married LaRita Nish on May 27, 1966, in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. They were the parents of Stephanie, the love of their life, who passed away on March 3, 2018.
Bryce served in many church callings, including Bishopric counselor, High Councilman, Bishop and Temple Ordinance worker in the Logan Temple and the Brigham City Temple. He was active in the Lion’s Club for several years and performed much community service, using his brick-laying talent on many projects.
Bryce is survived by his wife LaRita, son-in-law Randy Keyes, and many nieces and nephews. His special neighbors, the Roberts family, brought him and LaRita much joy through the years. The “Three M’s” were the grandchildren they never had.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Udy Keyes, parents, his brothers Odell, Ray (Ellerene), and Dennis (Joan and Margaret) and his sister Phyllis (Max) Kunzler.
Family and friends may meet on Friday, January 27, 2023, at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E., Tremonton) from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Services will begin at the funeral home at 11:45 a.m. The dedication of the grave will follow the services at the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery (100 E. 1200 S., Tremonton).
