BEAR RIVER HIGH - By Cari Doutre, Headliner Publisher - September 14, 2021
Bear River High School is making sure Homecoming Week 2021 will include plenty of school pride and homecoming traditions. Already in full force, Bear River High School students are celebrating Homecoming Week 2021, September 13-18.
And yes, the field at the Bear River High Stadium will be ready for Friday night's homecoming football game - new turf and all! More on that HERE.
As many homecoming week traditions continue at Bear River High this week, the school's homecoming week kick-off activity experienced a slight change in locations. Members of the Bear River High student council opted to skip the traditional painting of the school's mascot and logo at the intersection of Main St., and 300 E. in Tremonton this year and bringing it closer to home instead.
On Saturday, September 11, student council members and advisors painted the Bear River High logo and mascot in front of the school at the northern drop 0ff area. The change in location was simply to preserve the artistry longer and prevent fading caused by heavy traffic use.
Andy Marchant Photography captured images of the final work of art using an overhead drone.
Earlier in the day, another local photographer, John Hurley, snapped pictures of students working on the final touches of the piece of art work. Find those pictures below.
