SCHOOL - "Future business leaders at Bear River High take on region and state competitions"

BEAR RIVER HIGH - March 20, 2022


Future business leaders at Bear River High School recently won big at both the regional and state Future Business Leaders of America competitions.


At the 2022 State Leadership Conference held March 7-9, at the Davis Conference Center, the Bear River High FBLA Chapter's Katie Hewlett took 1st place in the Business Plan category. The team from Bear River High also won an outstanding chapter award taking 8th place overall for Chapter of the Year out of all of Utah high schools. In addition, Bear River High took 6th place in the Program of Work category while Sydney Munns and Nancy Smith took 5th place in the Local Chapter Annual Business Report.


At region level competition held December 1, 2021, at Weber State University, Bear River High's Sydney Wilkinson placed 3rd in the Sports & Entertainment Marketing category. Kat Anderson, Lexi Capener and Sydney Munns place 3rd in Publication Design and Brinley Rhodes place 1st in Agribusiness.
