BEAR RIVER HIGH - June 21, 2021
Long gone are the days of grass on Bear Field at Bear River High School as construction crews are moving along with the field's newest upgrade - artificial turf!
Construction began at the end of May as crews removed the existing grass to make way for turf. It is estimated that the field will be ready after the start of the 2021-22 school year this fall.
The construction also meant the 2021 Bear River High football team needed to find a new field to practice on this summer. Fortunately, they didn't have to look very far. The team moved their practices just west of Bear Field near the school's baseball field.
