In their 40th year showing support for the Special Olympics Utah organization, this year's Law Enforcement Torch Run made it's way through northern Box Elder County on May 27, 2021 after taking a year off from the tradition in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sticking to tradition, the 2021 event started at Garland Elementary School before heading south towards Bear River High, North Park Elementary and Alice C. Harris Intermediate School. Led by local law enforcement officers with the help of volunteers, family and friends, Special Olympics athletes helped carry the Flame of Hope in Garland and Tremonton today.

The Flame of Hope will continue on with other Law Enforcement Torch Runs before making it's way into the Opening Ceremony for the Special Olympics Utah Summer Games on June 19, 2021.
