SPORTS - "Bears fall behind in Region 11 golf"

It was a rough week on the golf course for the Bear River High School boys’ golf team as they slipped into a 6th place overall finish at Logan River Golf Course on Monday, September 13, 2021.

The Bears (345) trailed behind Ridgeline High School (288), Sky View High (293), Green Canyon High (307) Logan High (312) and Mountain Crest High (340) in a Region 11 tournament hosted by Logan High.

Finishing in the top four spots for Bear River High were Padin Hartfiel (79), Ryker Bennett (80), Denver Reese (91) and Maverick Sorenson (95).

Up next for the Bear River High boys’ golf team is another trip to Logan River Golf Course, this time with hosts Mountain Crest High, on Monday, September 20, 2021.
