BEAR RIVER HIGH - By Braxton Christensen, Headliner Sports Writer, September 2, 2022
The Bear River High boys' golf team is off to a slow start this year taking 6th place at both Region 11 tournaments they’ve attended so far this season. With team scores of 353 from August 22, at Skyway Golf Course and 360 at Birch Creek Golf Course on August 29, the Bears have yet to find their groove on the golf course early in the season.
Individually, Bear River placed just one golfer in the top 10 at Skyway Golf Course - senior Ryker Bennett shooting a 78 and tying for 6th place. Maverick Sorenson shot an 85 and both Brady Woodward 95 and Cutler Christensen each shot a 95 on the course.
