Two more weeks of region competition on the golf course have shown improvements from the Bear River High boys' golf team after competing at Birch Creek Golf Course on September 5, and Logan River Golf Course on September 12.


The Bears took fifth place overall at both Region 11 tournaments while senior Ryker Bennett continues to lead on the course for Bear River. Bennett shot at 78 at both Birch Creek and Logan River Golf Courses and tied for 10th and 11th place, respectively.


Up next for the Bear River High boys' golf team is another trip to Logan River Golf Course on September 19.
