With just a little over two weeks left in the season for the Bear River High girls' wrestling team, preparations for the upcoming state tournament are in full force and the Bears are eyeing more than just one state championship title this year.
The Bears wrapped up the last of their team dual prior to next week's state qualifying tournament in sunny St. George, the 4A (Division A) Divisional Tournament set for February 11, at Snow Canyon High. Wrestlers who place in the top 8 in each weight division will qualify to compete in the 4A state tournament to be held February 17-18, at Sevier Valley Center (Snow College) in Richfield.
Three team duals and one last tournament before state (along with some much-needed rest for team) wrapped up the last two weeks for the Bears. Here's a quick recap:
