SPORTS - "Lady Bears lose two games in close competition on the court"

BEAR RIVER HIGH - February 8, 2022


The Lady Bears were evenly matched on the basketball court last week during Region 11 play against Mountain Crest High and Green Canyon High, losing both games within just a few points.


Starting with the Mustangs from Mountain Crest on February 1, the Bear River High girls' basketball team took a close two-point loss, 60-58, in Hyrum.


Junior Jenna Lacroix led the Bears on the scoreboard with 21-points and 3-three pointers. Junior Kate Dahle had 14-points of her own with four offensive rebounds and four defensive rebounds. Gracie Riley, also a junior at Bear River High, put up 11-points on the scoreboard.

From there the Lady Bears hosted Green Canyon on February 3, falling to the Wolves, 68-63.


Coming up for the Bear River High girls' basketball team is a road trip to Region 11's Sky View High on Tuesday, February 8. As always, Bear River Live will be there livestreaming the action as it happens on the link below.
