On Thursday, September 17, the Bears hosted Logan High School and showed progress in both offense and defense in a 2-1 loss to the Grizzlies. Bear River’s Gracie Riley scored the Bears’ only goal in that game.
The Lady Bears have been struggling this year on the soccer field and are currently 0-5 in Region 11.

Seniors on the 2020 Bear River High girls’ soccer team were honored on Senior Night, Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Bear River High as they hosted Mountain Crest High in a region competition. The Bears took a 6-1 loss to the Mustangs with junior Naomi Tomlinson scoring a goal for Bear River.
Defensively for the Bears, junior keeper Lyza Pebley had 17 saves against Logan and 15 saves against Mountain Crest this week.
Up next for Bear River girls’ soccer is a trip to Ridgeline High School on Tuesday, Sept. 22. Varsity game time is set for 7 p.m. The Bears will then host Green Canyon High School on Thursday, Sept. 24, starting at 3:30 p.m.
