The year 2021 can officially be added to Bear River High School’s long list of region softball championship titles.

The Lady Bears finished Region 11 competition on May 4, 2021, hosting Mountain Crest High School with a 15-3 win over the Mustangs. The win made for a perfect undefeated, 10-0 region season.

Junior Kynlei Nelson went 3-for-3 against the Mustangs with two doubles and three RBIs. Senior Kortnie Burton also went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs while McCall Maxfield and Carlee Miller each hit homeruns for the Lady Bears. Olivia Taylor went 3-for-4 with a triple.

Bear River High sophomore Kate Dahle earned the win on the mound striking out seven Mustangs while giving up just four hits.
