SPORTS - "Tough blow on the football field in Bears' season opener"

In the Bear River High School football team's season opener against Morgan High School on Friday, August 13, the Bears took home a tough loss and start to the 2021 season. The Trojans beat the Bears 39-5 in non-region play at Morgan High.

Up next for Bear River High football is a trip to Clearfield High School where the Bears will face the Falcons in another non-region match up.

As the Bear's home field is under construction as crews work to install turf on Bear Field, the team will continue to play games on the road. The school is estimating that the football field will be ready for the homecoming game set for September 17, 2021.
