SPORTS - "'We need the communities help to make it amazing'"

BOX ELDER COUNTY – By Cari Doutre – June 9, 2020

Utah’s longest running high school football rivalry belongs right here in Box Elder County and this fall will mark the teams’ 100th game. To commemorate and celebrate this, both Bear River High School and Box Elder High School are joining together and putting on a contest that they hope will “build camaraderie and unity.”

The community has been invited to participate in a logo design contest using both school’s logo, both used equally, and have the number 100 in it and something that shows them “celebrating the proud histories of both schools,” as stated by administrators at both schools.

A combined high school committee will select the winning logo. The winner of the contest will receive social media promotion (and some excellent media coverage by a local media company), entrance to the game for four people, four shirts, preferential seating, dinner for four from the cook shack and SWAG from a preferred team.

“We need the communities help to make it amazing,” added administrators.

Digital logos must be submitted by July 17, 2020 to: 100logobebr@gmail.com
