Bear River High was well represented on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at All Star Duals, a wrestling competition featuring the state's top wrestlers.
Bear River High junior Trenton Ward (106) pinned his opponent, Kyison Garcia from Mountain Crest, in overtime. Ward continues his undefeated record in the high school wrestling 2019-20 season.
Senior Maverik Skinner (170) was matched with Tate Willoughby from Delta. Skinner pinned his opponent at the 5:27 minute mark.
Freshman Jeshua Koch (285) was also invited to the competition but lost his match 4-2 from Box Elder's Kellen Collier.
The Bear River varsity and junior varsity teams will host Region 11's Sky View on Thursday, Jan. 16, starting with junior varsity at 5:15 p.m. and varsity at 7 p.m. in the BRHS gym.
