A new Peach Queen has been crowned! Hailee Crabb, a student at Utah State University, took home the crown and title of Brigham City’s 2021 Peach Queen on Thursday, September 9.

As winner of this scholarship pageant, Hailee received a $2,000 scholarship to further her education. Hailey, the daughter of Kevin and Tammy Crabb, is currently studying Early Childhood Education with a minor in Art at Utah State University. Joining Hailee in this year’s Peach Queen royalty included First Attendant Shaylee Webster and Second Attendant Camille Bailey.

Last year’s 2020 Peach Queen Pageant was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and a new Peach Queen wasn’t crowned. Instead, Kayla Edelman, Peach Queen 2019, hung onto the title for two years. She was able to pass on the crown to Hailey last week during the pageant in the traditional manner as the outgoing queen.

This year’s scholarship pageant was held at Box Elder High School and for the first time in the competition’s history it was available to watch from home via livestreaming with tickets sold prior to the event.

The pageant is open to young women living within the Box Elder High School boundaries. Contestants can compete during their junior or senior year in high school through the age of 26. The 2021 Peach Queen Pageant had 13 contestants compete.
