TREMONTON - July 9, 2022
Tremonton City held their annual Chalk Art Affair contest on Saturday, June 25, at Midland Square in Tremonton. This year's chalk art festival brought in artists throughout northern Utah as well as local chalk art enthusiasts as well.
The 2022 Best in Show winner was Brittany Shepler from Salt Lake City. She has been part of the city art scene for several years and in 2021 entered 18 of the 25 chalk art festivals in Utah. She is from originally from northern Idaho and graduated from University of Massachusetts with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
Once again, the local GFWC (General Federation of Women’s Clubs) Women’s Civic League Inc. Club helped provide their support to this community art event. This year they provided sack lunches to each of the artists and a box of artist chalk as a thank-you for participating in this event and sharing their talents with the Bear River Valley community.
"We would again like to thank those that support our club fundraising projects. Because of your support we had the $300 needed for this community art project," stated the GFWC Women's Civic League Inc. Club.
