COMMUNITY - “Free passes to Baby Farm Animal Days from My Discovery Destination!”

BOX ELDER COUNTY – April 16, 2021

The American West Heritage Center in Logan, Utah is a popular destination for local families and Baby Farm Animal Days is one of the highlights.

On April 24, 2021, all families in Cache, Rich, and Box Elder counties have the opportunity to attend for free as a reward for participating in the free Discovery Family Adventures program.

The Discovery Family Adventures program is sponsored by the Bear River Health Department to provide activities to help families spend time together. Families begin the program by doing things together, such as birdwatching or playing a board game. They submit these “missions” on the GooseChase app.

“To submit the missions, download the GooseChase app, search code 4XEEPX for the Discovery Family Adventures Hunt, set up your team and start having fun,” said Tori Jones, Box Elder Community Coordinator for My Discovery Destination!

When families have submitted four missions, they qualify for the monthly reward event and sign up at April’s event is Baby Farm Animal Days at the American West Heritage Center. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, April 21.

“The Discovery Family program is all about encouraging families to spend time together and build relationships, which contributes to healthy outcomes for everyone,” according to Jones.

My Discovery Destination! is a statewide organization with local involvement in communities across Utah. Facebook groups are available for support, including Discover Family Fun Brigham City and Discover Family Fun Tremonton.

“My Discovery Destination! will continue to provide activities and monthly reward events to support families and our community. And stay tuned for our next big thing - the Summer Passport Program! It will be a terrific way to stay active, get involved in the community and grow family relationships, coming up this summer,” Jones added.
