TREMONTON - December 30, 2022
Mark Mackay, a rising country star who also covers other music genres, gave a concert at the Box Elder County fairgrounds on December 22, in Tremonton. Playing newly released songs such as, "Christmas Time Is in the Air," Mackay's new release for the holidays and was a crowd favorite and right on the heels of his summer release, "Summer Slowdown."
His summer release was related to his childhood home in southern California and his love for summer and always the California kid at heart. He currently resides in Nashville, Tennesse. Where else would be better for a rising country star to perfect his musical skills?
An excited crowd enjoyed the concert from floor to the upper risers, on a very cold December night. His music is on Spotify and YouTube and various other music sites. Band mates include Jeff Marshal, Phil Cimino on drums, Keith Christopher bassist and Eric Roscoe Ambel on guitar.
Joining the night's concert was Katie Matthews who brought her music flare and as a solo and duet with Mackay. Kenadi Dodds from Logan, Utah and was a contestant on the television show "America's Got Talent contestant," at the young age of 15 years old, also performed that night for the crowd.
