The Tremonton Women’s Civic League recently presented cozy blankets and stuffed toys to Sterling Marx, Director of the Box Elder County’s Children’s Justice Center. The center's mission it is to offer a safe family atmosphere, care, hope and love to abused and neglected children.
Members of the Tremonton Women's Civic League spent months busily preparing for this donation. Barbara Foote, Home Life Committee Chairman, made the presentation to Sterling at the club's October 7, 2021 meeting.
The club warmly welcomes ladies to join them twice a month for meetings featuring guest speakers, participate in humanitarian projects, fundraising efforts and fellowshipping. “Give Where You Live” is the motto of the league which has enjoyed 82 years of consecutive service to the Bear River Valley community.
