An Idaho woman is listed as critical after rolling her vehicle on I-84 near milepost 12 Tuesday afternoon, June 7.

Sgt. Brian Nelson with Utah Highway Patrol reported that the accident occurred just before 2:30 p.m. The woman, who is from Parma, Idaho, drifted off the roadway onto the left shoulder and into the median where her vehicle impacted an end section of guardrail. The impact tore the left rear door off the car.

The vehicle continued eastbound and rolled several times, landing on its wheels. The driver was ejected and came to rest next to the right rear tire.

Nelson said the driver was conscious and breathing when Snowville EMS transported her to Bear River Valley Hospital. They were met there by a medical helicopter, and she was airlifted to Ogden Regional Hospital.

According to Nelson, impairment is being investigated as a contributing factor in the crash as alcohol and marijuana edibles were found at the scene.

Traffic was detoured at a nearby exit as the scene was cleared.
