SCHOOL - "Bear River High releases virtual graduation video for the Class of 2020"

BEAR RIVER HIGH - By Cari Doutre - May 29, 2020

Bear River High School has officially released the Class of 2020's official virtual graduation video and it's ready to watch!

It took Bear River Live, a local livestreaming and multi-media company in Tremonton, several days to film and countless hours editing and producing Bear River High’s Class of 2020’s virtual graduation video. It was officially released on May 28 and can be found by clicking on the link below.

It wasn’t the traditional graduation ceremony seniors in Bear River High School’s Class of 2020 thought they were going to have when they started their last year of high school. They weren’t alone - all high school seniors across the country missed out on graduations and end of the school year celebrations and events.

In March 2020 when the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic hit Utah, Governor Gary Herbert officially dismissed all public schools in the state to prevent further spreading of the virus.

Bear River High School administrators made the decision to have a “virtual graduation” for the Class of 2020. For more information about this process, check out these articles previously published by The Valley Headliner at BRVNEWS.com.

Also in attendance at Bear River High’s virtual graduation was Amanda Archibald, a local photographer and mom to one Class of 2020 graduate - Andre Archibald. Amanda put her photography talent and skills to use and captured pictures of the event. She has given The Valley Headliner – BRVNEWS.com permission to publish them.
